Special Tour: In Search of the Tudor House
Join us for a programme of special tours exploring fascinating elements of Temple Newsam’s rich and varied history. From the civil wars to costume, and controversies to civil engineering these tours promise to reveal a different side to this magnificent house.
These tours will last between 1-1.5hrs. Meeting point is the Great Hall, unless otherwise stated. Cost for the tours is £5 (plus house admission)
Completed around 1520 Temple Newsam house has gone through 500 years of development. You will be invited to look carefully and discover evidence of the Tudor building.
