Lunchtime Recital: Simeon Walker
Versatile Leeds-based pianist and composer Simeon Walker has quickly emerged as a leading figure in modern classical music. His work is regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, with over 50 million streams across platforms.
Combining classical training with jazz, ambient and experimental influences, Simeon performs with warmth, wit and intimacy, from gentle, reflective passages to exuberant, flowing energy.
He has toured across the UK and Europe, supported artists including Neil Cowley and Submotion Orchestra, and performed at Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and SXSW London.
