Willow Sculpture workshop
Join Leilah Vyner of Dragon Willow to discover the art of willow weaving.
Join us for an inspiring creative experience in the elegant surroundings of Lotherton’s historic Drawing Room, where Leilah Vyner of Dragon Willow will guide you through the art of willow weaving.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a beautiful willow poppy seedhead sculpture—a striking natural piece perfect for displaying indoors or outdoors. You’ll learn traditional techniques while crafting something truly unique.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, but please note that it may not be suitable for anyone with severe dexterity issues, as it involves prolonged manipulation of willow.
After your creative session, enjoy delicious food served in the Servants’ Hall, adding a wonderful historic atmosphere to your day. Discover the joy of working with willow and take home a handmade sculpture you can be proud of!
£75 – includes tea and coffee, buffet lunch, general admission to Lotherton and all materials.
