Teddy Thompson: Never Be The Same
London-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Teddy Thompson brings an intimate live showcase of his latest album, Never Be The Same, to the Howard Assembly Room.
The performance marks Thompson’s first collection of original material since 2020. Produced by Grammy-winner David Mansfield, the tracks explore traditional themes of love, longing and the passage of time through an understated, elegant musical framework.
The live arrangements blend folk-rock heritage with country-soul phrasing and rich, Stax-era horn sections. Listeners can expect a performance rooted in direct, concise songwriting and a clear musical sensibility that balances emotional depth with a clean, deliberate live sound.
