RTS Yorkshire Presents: A Celebration of Educating Yorkshire
Filmed at Thornhill Community Academy in Dewsbury, 2025 saw us return to the school over a decade since the original series.
We are delighted to be joined by members of the team behind the hit show to celebrate this landmark documentary format, and delve into how both schools and unscripted television have changed over the last 10 years. We’ll hear about the development of the production and the challenges of making the series in an ever-evolving school environment. We will celebrate the impact the show has had on audiences over the years and look forward to hearing insights from behind the scenes.
The Q&A panel will include David Clews the shows Creator and Chief Creative Officer at Twofour and Matthew Burton Headteacher at Thornhill Community Academy and Rita Daniels Commissioning Editor, Documentaries at Channel 4, alongside others behind the show.
