John McCusker Trio
Led by one of the UK’s most respected folk musicians, The John McCusker Trio brings together exceptional musicianship and contemporary Celtic sound.
A multi award-winning fiddle player, composer and producer, John McCusker has been at the heart of the UK folk scene for over 30 years and is widely praised for his expressive, distinctive playing. A member of Mark Knopfler’s touring band since 2008, John has also collaborated with artists including David Gilmour, Paul Weller and Eddi Reader. He is joined by acclaimed singer and guitarist Sam Kelly and virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Toby Shaer.
Together, the trio present a rich mix of original compositions, traditional tunes and modern folk, delivered with warmth, skill and musical depth.
